State Senator Sal DiDomenico once again served as Vice Chair of the
first Joint Committee onWays & Means Hearing to kick off Fiscal Year
2018; itwas recentlyheldat theStateHouse.TheCommitteeheardtes-
timony fromstateofficials: Administration&FinanceSecretaryKristen
Lepore,AttorneyGeneralMauraHealey, SecretaryofStateWilliamGal-
vin,TreasurerDebGoldberg, InspectorGeneralGlennCunhaandAudi-
tor Suzanne Bump. Senator DiDomenico will work with Senate Chair-
womanKaren Spilka toproduce the Senate budget that will be debat-
ed this coming May. The process of receiving feedback from the Bak-
er Administration and our Constitutional Officers regarding their por-
tions of the budget began with this hearing. “It is an honor and privi-
lege to once again serve as theVice Chair of the Senate Committee on
Ways &Means andhear fromour state leaders regarding their budget
initiatives,”statedSenatorDiDomenico.“I amlookingforwardtowork-
ing with Chairwoman Spilka to craft a Senate budget that will contin-
ue tomove our Commonwealth forward. I amalso pleased to havemy
friend and colleague, Representative Joe McGonagle, as a member of
