State Senator Sal DiDomenico recently hosted a tour and meeting at the Wind Technology Testing Cen-
ter (WTTC) of the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC). This is the largest turbine testing facil-
ity in North America, and the tour was led by MassCEC CEO Stephen Pike and WTTC Executive Director
Rahul Yarala. This site allows for the safe testing of wind turbine blades that will increase our country’s
clean energy capacity. Because this is the largest facility of its kind on our continent, it is a crucial compo-
nent of our country’s future energy efforts. “I was happy to host this tour of theWindTechnology Testing
Center and show others the impressive work that is happening in my district,” said Senator DiDomeni-
co. “This Center is crucial for our goal to expand wind power in our state and country, and I am also ex-
cited about the thousands of jobs that have been created by the Commonwealth’s clean energy sector.”
