Row, Row, Row In Revere returns Aug. 19
New beginning, new name and better than ever!

or over 20 years, Row, Row,
Row to Revere attracted
hundreds of participants and
spectators who participated
in the annual canoe race from
Nahant Beach to Revere Beach
to raise money for spina bi-
fida. The annual event end-
ed around 1995 but, accord-
ing to Stacey Livote, event co-
ordinator for Row, Row, Row
In Revere, the return of this
fun-filled summer event will
be better than ever. Now re-
named Row, Row, Row In Re-
vere, the event will begin at
the Point of Pines Yacht Club
and travel down the Pines Riv-
er, and it will end with a cele-
bration at the Marina Restau-
rant & Bar at TheWharf on Sat-
urday, August 19.
The event will raise money
to support families who are
unable to provide special-
ized therapies for children af-
fected by Autism, said Livote.
“Our ultimate goal is to open
our city’s own Autism Center
