Andrea Berman's Beach City Buzz

Greetings, neighbors, and welcome to the Beach City BUZZ...We truly hope that you, your family, and your humble abode managed to escape any injuries, damage, costly repairs, or problems caused by Hurricane Sandy.  So many in New York, New Jersey, and elsewhere were not as lucky.  I am especially sad because the Mr. and I just spent a blissful long weekend as tourists in NYC, and it is hard to believe that just a few days ago, we were happily munching on corned beef sangwiches at the Carnegie Deli, visiting Ellis Island, eating corned beef sangwiches at the Stage Deli (no, that wasn’t a typo), and taking a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride through Central Park.  Times Square at midnight was beyond our wildest imagination, the crowds, lights, sights and sounds of New York City was a total blast, and we were happy to sink our teeth into the Big Apple.  Now, our thoughts and prayers go out to those who experienced the destruction of Mother Nature.  Thankfully, most of us here in the Beach City dodged the bullet on this one, we are counting our blessings...As long as we’re counting, please remember that YOUR VOTE COUNTS next week on Election Day, and there’s nothing more important that you can do for yourself, your country, your kids, and your grandkids than to get out and VOTE!...Right now, I vote that we get to the BUZZ..
