Volunteers are needed to help Community Garden

Dear Kind People,

  We are now planning the planting of the St. John’s Community Garden. We are seeking volunteers to assist for 30 minutes a week from June-August (with breaks for vacation). We would be very grateful if any among you can participate in the community exercise.

  I will be away this summer on sabbatical. We have several folks who have agreed to be available, but the scale of the project will depend on the number of volunteers we can muster. This is a wonderful opportunity to work cooperatively with members of the Saugus Community in producing vegetables for those who are food insecure in our town.

  If you are able to give us a hand, please let me know in the next few days. I will really appreciate it. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
