Tide boys basketball team outlasts Salem, 79-62

alt

The Everett boys’ basketball team took down Salem, 79-62, on Monday night. Leading the way for the Crimson Tide was Ghared Boyce, who scored 25 points.

The Crimson Tide is now ranked second in Massachusetts and is 11-1. The team’s next game is on Saturday morning against Malden in a crucial Greater Boston League (GBL) clash. Saturday’s game will be the first of two meetings between the Golden Tornadoes and Everett this season. The Crimson Tide only needs to win one to clinch the title of the GBL, which is in its final season of existence. Malden, Everett and the remainder of the GBL teams will join the Northeast Conference in 2017/2018.
