7th Annual Jared’s Run raises funds to fight Sanfilippo syndrome
The 7th Annual Jared’s Run was held on Sunday morning to raise money for Jared Connor and his fight against Sanfilippo syndrome, a genetic disorder that impacts children’s ability to walk, talk and eat as they grow. Money raised helps him with experimental treatments not covered by insurance. The Connor Family was proud to welcome hundreds of friends and supporters on Sunday.
Collin Strong was amongst the first kids to cross the finish line.
Keri Williams and Leeya Smith cheered runners on as they approached the end of the race.
Matteo Graziano and his brother, Dante, checked their finishing times at the end of the race.
The Revere High School Field Hockey Team showed their support at Jared’s Run on Sunday.
Daria Millerick, Leah Pirone, Shelagh O’Connell, Sarah Dearville and Jimmy Adamson prepped for the race at the starting line.
Hundreds raced for Jared Connor during the 7th Annual Jared’s Run on Sunday.
The Connor family participated in the race on Sunday, which began on Elm Street.
Miss Massachusetts Junior High Bella Moore volunteered passing out water to racers, including Pam Burke and Ellie Thomas.
Two local running enthusiasts, Manual Rivera and Shane McNally, participated in Jared’s Run and took third and first place, respectively
The Connor family – Reia, Aaron, Rick and Jared – welcomed participants at the start of the race.
Ken Kelley helped get the race rolling by explaining the route and guidelines.

Sean Bagley finished second overall in the race on Sunday.
