Hundreds of local pasta lovers turned out on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at the Edward G. Connolly Center for the Everett Kiwanis Club’s annual Pasta Dinner which raises funds for scholarships for local Everett students to help further their education following high school.
Club President Rafael Santos, along with the enthusiastic membership including Immediate Past President Steve Rocco and members Dan Cameron, Rocco Longo, and Frank Mastrocola who always do a great job in the kitchen.
And of course, special thanks go out to Frank Rossetti of the Produce Connection in Wakefield for donating the salads once again this year and Rocco’s mom, Anna Longo for the incredible gravy.
The event wouldn’t be a success without the students of the EHS Key Club and the students of the Keverian School Builders Club who sold desserts and refreshments to all the hungry guests who were served delicious pasta, meatballs, sausage, and salad.
The annual Pasta Dinner is one of the club’s biggest fundraisers of the year and always draws a great crowd whose participation highlights the community spirit that is Everett and its local Everett Kiwanis Club membership.
