Another successful Malden Kiwanis holiday basket delivery

On Friday, December 21, Anthony’s was a busy workshop for the many Malden Kiwanians, MHS and MVRCS Key Clubbers, Malden Catholic students and other community volunteers. Sixty-six families received baskets this year, adding to their holiday cheer. On Friday night the baskets were filled with the gifts for the families, and on Saturday morning Santa’s helpers took off in their sleighs to bring the gifts and a meal to the families.

Malden Kiwanis wishes to thank every community member who helped, whether it was a toy donation, a monetary donation or help with distribution. Special thanks to the Malden Chamber of Commerce for helping collect the toys, the Malden Fire Department for helping collect toys and delivering, Yankee Pest Control for helping to store the toys and bring them to Anthony’s and a very, very special thank you to Anthony’s of Malden for donating space to complete the project. Thanks to both Malden Key Clubs (MVRCS and MHS) who helped as well as Justin Fitzgerald’s Malden Catholic students. We could not have done it without the help of the Malden community.
