Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 12:30PM. Pizza and Presentation: Join Blue Cross – Blue Shield for a presentation on the changes you need to know about your insurance plan. Pizza to follow the presentation.

Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 1pm. Join us for the third in a series of three; Celebrating 250 years of Independence for The United States of America. The Council on Aging will welcome the city of Everett’s new VSO (Veterans Service Officer) Paul Landry, for a presentation on military history in the United States. The COA has chosen to serve a good old fashioned American treat, steamed hot dogs with all the fixings and sides.

Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 12:30PM. Meals and Reels: The Council on Aging will prepare a delicious meal of shrimp in a lemon garlic sauce over pasta. Following lunch sit back and relax for the movie, “The Devil Wears Prada” starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt. Find out what happens to our favorite characters 20 years later.

Tuesday, September 22, 2026, Seniors on The Road: The Council on Aging have planned a trip to The Cathedral of The Holy Cross for a private tour of this exquisite structure. The bus departs The Connolly Center at 10 am for an 11am tour of the Cathedral. Following the tour, we will head to Boston’s North End for a delicious lunch at Massimino’s Cucina Italiano.
