Lady Pioneers looking to turn season around in second half

The Lynnfield High School girls’ basketball team has beaten Rockport (92-57) and Winthrop (42-33) to date, but are hoping for a complete turnaround In terms of more wins in the second half of the season. They are currently 2-7, and were ready to take on Masco for a rematch on Jan. 25 after press deadline. The Pioneers fell to Masco 34-56 on Monday.

Manchester Essex then comes to town Tuesday, Jan. 30, to take on coach Jim Perry’s Pioneers, starting at 6:30 p.m. They will then head to North Reading to face the Hornets next Friday night, Feb. 2.
