Letter To The Editor: Let’s have some innovative, original thinking in the school superintendent’s office

Dear Editor:

This letter to the editor is in response to recent Facebook posts by David DeRuosi.

If we in Saugus were under the impression that innovative original thought/thinking was in the job description for Superintendent of Schools in this this town, I think we were sadly mistaken. I guess “all that glitters is not gold”

Why can’t they make room for the cable tv station in the new HS? That’s where it belongs – to help train students in video production, sports, graphics, arts, entertainment, theatre, community events, along with responsibility, creativity and of course, education. Too innovative for Saugus High School students? I think not. Saugus students deserve this opportunity, after all, we are ALL paying for it…
