At 5:17 p.m. on April 1, Peabody police officers responded to what was, at that time, a domestic disturbance on Lynnfield Street.
“This started over a road rage incident,” said Capt. Dennis Bonaiuto. He said that during the incident, David Sullivan, 30, of 10 May St., pulled out a gun and pointed it at the other party, who proceeded to call police. Officers were then directed to “be on the lookout” for a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with New York license plates. Bonaiuto said the vehicle was supposedly a rental car.
He said that when Sullivan was found and taken into custody a short time later, police also found fentanyl and cocaine in the vehicle. As a result, Sullivan has 11 charges pending against him. They include two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of possession with the intent to distribute Class B drugs, carrying an unlicensed firearm and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
