Malden Police and Fire Departments square-off against MHS students in sports program

A new program has been created in Malden, thanks to the efforts of Mayor Gary Christenson, Fire Chief Kevin Finn, Police Chief Kevin Molis and Director of Malden Recreation Joe Levine as volunteer members of the fire and police departments will square off against students from Malden High School in an assortment of events. The sporting events include, football, volleyball, basketball and extreme Frisbee.

This is a wonderful program, bringing the youth of Malden in contact with the city’s first responders. This program also allows conversation with police and fire about student’s interest in jobs and issue in the schools, besides the obvious, a fun time enjoyed for all.
