“Dear City, can you help me?”

  A resident using the city’s MYPD reporting system told police that cars defying the snow parking ban on Tracey Street were hindering snowplows from doing their jobs and asked for help. According to the police report, a Jeep Wrangler was towed for the parking violation during a snow emergency and the vehicle’s owner was cited for operating his vehicle while the registration was revoked for no insurance.

 

Thursday, February 8

 

Craving caramel like crazy

  An employee at Dunkin’ Donuts had to deal with a customer who was very upset about not being able to get caramel in a latte. The customer was so upset that police had to be called in to help calm the situation, but when police arrived, the customer was gone.

 

 A smasher strikes

  A mother attempting to pick up her children at school discovered the windows had been smashed in her parked car on Englewood Road. According to the report, the victim stated she had a previous issue after parking in front of a home approximately a month ago.

Ice, no chaser

  A concerned caller reported kids playing on the ice on Crystal Lake by Lowell Street. According to the report, the fire department was called and stated that the ice was unsafe for anyone to be on, so an officer was sent to disperse the kids, who were sent on their way.

Let’s hope it was insured

  The owner of an insurance company on Main Street walked into police headquarters to report his business sign valued at $300 had been stolen off the wall at his place of business.

Monday, February 5

  Michael C. Marciano, 46, of 126 Lowell St., Peabody, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Keith E. Moberg, 34, of 104 Walnut St., Saugus, was summonsed to court for malicious destruction of property over $250.

 

Tuesday, February 6

Wagner Batista, 33, of Framingham, was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Tercio Ferreira DaSilva of 111 Tremont St., Peabody, was summonsed to court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, for uninsured motor vehicle and for unregistered motor vehicle.

 

Wednesday, February 7

Jeniell Postell, 36, of 111 Foster St., Peabody, was charged with an arrest warrant.

Jacob H. Quarles, 20, of 66 Margin St., Peabody, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and with marked lanes violation.

 

Thursday, February 8

  Ty Lee Arbegast, 28, homeless/Peabody, was charged with possession of a Class A drug and with possession of a Class B drug.

Ryan C. Barrington, 29, of 12 Ramsdell Pl., Lynn, was charged with possession of a Class B drug.

Nicholas S. Fortin, 29, of 18 Krochmal Rd., Peabody, was charged with possession of a Class E drug and with possession of a Class B drug.

 

Friday, February 9

Lam Chan, 54, of Malden, was summonsed to court for operating with an expired license and for improper turn.

 

Saturday, February 10

Elaine Purdis, 80, of 15 Bourbon St., Peabody, was charged with leaving the scene of property damage and with reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Marcial Larios, Jr., 27, of Revere, was charged with shoplifting $100+ by concealing merchandise.

Brianna A. Lovasco, 26, of 1 Newhall Pl., Peabody, was summonsed to court for assault & battery with a dangerous weapon.

 

Sunday, February 11

Melanie A. Koulouris, 40, of 96 Birch St., Peabody, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, with motor vehicle operator refusing to identify self and with leaving scene of property damage.

 

Monday, February 12

  Meaghan T. Coughlin, 32, of 7 Goodridge St., Peabody, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor.
