Raised $4,835, will be honored by a special experience in WEEI Radio Announcer’s Booth during Sept. 29 Red Sox game
Sal DiDomenico from Everett was recently awarded as one of the top fundraisers in the 2018 Jimmy Fund Little League season, helping to raise over $250,000 to support patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. To honor his fundraising success, Sal will receive two game tickets to the September 29 Boston Red Sox game vs. the New York Yankees. He will also have an exclusive opportunity to watch the third inning from the WEEI Radio Announcer’s Booth.
The Jimmy Fund Little League season ran from April through August. This summer more than 5,000 children throughout New England participated in this fundraiser that raised more than $250,000. Since its inception in 1987, Jimmy Fund Little League has raised more than $5 million for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Jimmy Fund Little League, now in its 32nd season, provides thousands of New England Little League players the opportunity to continue playing baseball and softball after the regular season ends by participating in local tournaments and fundraising efforts, including canister collection, carwashes and more. These remarkable boys and girls play to support the lifesaving mission of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund.
