La Abuela Carmen Products

  The License Commission approved a change of “doing business as” for La Abuela Carmen Products from Crown Fried Chicken and Pizza, 91 Centennial Ave. All operations remain the same.

Black Marble Motorcycles

Black Marble Motorcycles was granted a one-day Common Victualler and Entertainment License for a Breakfast, Beats and Bikes event on Saturday, August 15, from 10 a.m. to noon at 649 Squire Rd. The event is a bike show with a DJ and a catered food truck. Expected attendance is 100.

Los Compadres Oaxaqueoños

  The commission approved a change of operating hours for Los Compadres Oaxaqueños to Friday, closing at 1 a.m., and karaoke entertainment, Friday–Saturday, 7 p.m.–11 p.m. The current closing hour is midnight, and current karaoke hours are Saturday, 6 p.m.–10 p.m.

The Chill House

  Jason Calnan was told to return to the commission once his inspections from appropriate city departments are completed. Calnan is seeking a Common Victualler License to serve ice cream at The Chill House, 435 Revere Street. Hours of operation will be Sunday–Saturday, 12 p.m.–10 p.m., with no requested seating.

Rappi Doggie

  Even Andrew Long was granted a Stationary Mobile Food Vendor License to be operated at 61 Squire Rd., Sunday–Saturday, 4:30 p.m.–1 a.m. Rappi Doggie will serve Venezuelan food and hot dogs.

The Good Diner

  The commission approved City Diner Corporation’s application for a transfer of Common Victualler and Entertainment Licenses from The Good Diner LLC to 361 Broadway. Requested seating: to remain at 19 inside, 8 outside; requested hours to remain Monday–Thursday, 7 a.m.–11 p.m., Friday–Sunday, 24 hours; and requested entertainment to remain Widescreen Cable TV.

BK’s Bar & Grill

  The commission held a public hearing into State Police complaints of numerous disruptions, service to intoxicated patrons, assaults and fights at BK’s Bar & Grill. Commission Chairman Robert Selevitch said the commission had received a letter from police that explained that the situation at BK’s Bar & Grill has been improving. Police Sgt. Edward Troy has been working with BK’s on potential improvements, such as better checks of identification, earlier time for last call and barring customers who have been in fights. “It’s been a short time but the last couple of weeks have been better,” said Selevitch. The commission placed the complaints on file.
