Senator DiDomenico Volunteers in Annual Homeless Census

Last week, Senator Sal DiDomenico and his staff participated in the annual homeless census that is conducted throughout the Commonwealth. Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) Housing & Homelessness Prevention Department organized the annual point-in-time count, where volunteers interviewed homeless individuals in the cities of Everett, Malden, and Medford to gather information needed solve the homeless crisis in the Mystic Valley area. Senator DiDomenico was joined by City Councilor Michael McLaughlin in leading the homeless census in city of Everett. “My staff and I were happy to join the fellow volunteers and Councilor McLaughlin for the Annual ABCD point-in-time homeless count in the city of Everett,” said Senator DiDomenico. “These counts are important to understanding the scope of the issue and gathering information to effectively get individuals and families off the street and into permanent housing.”
