The Peabody Institute Library (82 Main St.) will be hosting the following events:

 

Family LEGO Saturday will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 17. Registration is required as space is limited.

The Main Library will be closed for a staff meeting from 9-11 a.m. on Nov. 19. The West Branch Library (603 Lowell St.) and the South Branch Library (78 Lynn St.) will also have staff meetings on Nov. 19 and will be closed from 9 a.m.-noon.

Monday Morning Fun will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 19 and Nov. 26. Registration is required as space is limited.

Baby Story Time will be held at 10 a.m. on Nov. 20. Registration is recommended, but not required.

Toddler Story Time will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 20. Registration is recommended, but not required.

The Creative Circle will be meeting at 7 p.m. on Nov. 20. Registration is required as space is limited.

The Northeast Chapter of Voter Choice Massachusetts will be hosting its next meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 27 at the South Branch Library (78 Lynn St.).

After School LEGO Free Time will be held at 5 p.m. on Nov. 28. Registration is required as space is limited.

The Winter Wreath Workshop will be held at 6 p.m. on Nov. 29 at the West Branch Library (603 Lowell St.). Tickets are $50.

 

The Torigian Family YMCA will be hosting the LiveSTRONG at the Y Half Marathon at 9 a.m. on Nov. 17 at Lt. Ross Park (23 Johnson St.).

The Peabody Recreation Department will be hosting its Gobble Gaga Tournament from 9 a.m.-noon on Nov. 17 at Brooksby Farm (54 Felton St.) for children ages seven to 13. The Peabody Historical Society will be hosting a craft fair from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Nov. 17 at the Smith Barn at Brooksby Farm (38 Felton St.).

West Memorial Elementary School (15 Bow St.) will be hosting its annual Craft Fair and Raffle Bazaar from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Nov. 17.

Like Father Like Daughter Furniture will be hosting a craft show at Brooksby Farm (54 Felton St.) from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Nov. 17.

The Parent Teacher Organization at McCarthy Elementary School (76 Lake St.) will be hosting its annual craft fair from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Nov. 17.

Welch Elementary School (50 Swampscott Ave.) will be hosting a wood sign paint party at 11 a.m. on Nov. 17. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased online at https://www.createandescapediy.com/classes/welchpto1.

Mayor Edward Bettencourt recently announced that this year’s City Hall Christmas Tree was grown and nurtured in Peabody by a former Center School student and his family. Peabody resident Stephen Whittier is donating a Blue Spruce tree, which his son brought home from the Center School on Arbor Day 30 years ago. The tree was planted in the Whittier’s front yard in 1988 and will adorn City Hall’s front lawn in 2018. Whitcomb Tree Service is donating its crane and services to remove the tree from Whittier’s yard and bring it to City Hall (24 Lowell St.) on Nov. 19. The spruce will be decorated by Nov. 22, in time for the Holiday Stroll and annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Nov. 24.

Sugar Me Sweet Events will be hosting the Small Business Saturday Marketplace from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Nov. 24 at the AOH Club (58 Lowell St.).

 Peabody Main Streets will be hosting the Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting from 1-5 p.m. on Nov. 24 at City Hall (24 Lowell St.).

The Don Bosco Technical High School Reunion will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Nov. 24 at the Norwood Elks Lodge (152 Winslow Ave. in Norwood). A Memorial Mass will be held at 4 p.m. The cost is $47. For additional information, contact James Hager at dbtreunion@gmail.com.

The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its next Business Studio Workshop from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Nov. 29 at Burtons Grill (210 Andover St.).

Higgins Middle School (85 Perkins St.) will be hosting its 16th annual Craft Fair from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 1.

Brooksby Farm (54 Felton St.) will be hosting its Holiday Open House at noon on Dec. 1-2.

Bishop Fenwick High School (99 Margin St.) will be hosting its Christmas Craft and Vendor Fair from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 2.

The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its Holiday Member Reception from 5:30-8 p.m. on Dec. 4 at the Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College (295 Hale St. in Beverly).

The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its next Power Up! session from 7:30-9 a.m. on Dec. 11 at the Ferncroft Country Club (10 Village Rd. in Middleton).

The McVann O’Keefe Memorial Skating Rink (511 Lowell St.) will be hosting Skate With Santa from 2:10-3:40 p.m. on Dec. 23.
