The Peabody Institute Library (82 Main St.) will be hosting the following events:

Family LEGO Saturdays will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 1, Jan. 12 and Feb. 23. Registration is required as space is limited.

The Cosplay Meetup group will be meeting from 1:30-4:30 p.m. on Dec. 1.

Make a Laser Cut Greeting Card will be held at 6 p.m. on Dec. 3 for ages 18 and older. Registration is required as space is limited.

Monday Morning Fun will be held at 10:30 a.m. every week from Dec. 3 to Feb. 18 for children ages two to five. Registration is required as space is limited.

Irish harpist Áine Minogue will be performing a Concert from 7-8 p.m. on Dec. 3.

A class on PowerPoint presentations, Photographs and Digital Slideshows will be held at 4 p.m. on Dec. 4. Registration is required as space is limited.

Open Mic Night will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Dec. 5.

The Friends of the Peabody Institute Libraries is holding its annual Holiday Poinsettia Sale. Prices range from $10.75 to $21.75. Order forms are available at all library branches and online at http://www.peabodylibrary.org/news/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/2018Poinsettia_OrderForm.pdf. Orders must be received no later than Dec. 5. The plants will be available for pickup on Dec. 8 at the Main Library.

Drop-in Crafting Fun will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Dec. 6, Dec. 13, Jan. 10, Jan. 24, Feb. 5 and Feb. 19.

Editing Pictures on Your Computer will be held at the South Branch Library (78 Lynn St.) from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Dec. 6. Registration is required as space is limited.

Baby Story Time will held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 11, Dec. 18, Jan. 8, Jan. 22, Feb. 5, Feb. 19, March 5 and March 19. Registration is recommended, but not required.

Toddler Story Time will held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 11, Dec. 18, Jan. 8, Jan. 22, Feb. 5, Feb. 19, March 5 and March 19. Registration is recommended, but not required.

After-School Bingo will be held for children up to age 12 at the South Branch Library (78 Lynn St.) from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Dec. 12 and Jan. 23. Registration is required as space is limited.

Snowman Story Time will be held at 4 p.m. on Dec. 18. Registration is required as space is limited.

Hand-Sewing for Kids will be held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 26 and Feb. 20 for children ages eight to 12. Registration is required as space is limited.

 

Yoga for Those in Recovery will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Nov. 30 at the Torigian Family YMCA (259 Lynnfield St.).

The Parent Teacher Organization at Center Elementary School will be hosting a Mom’s Night Out at 7 p.m. on Nov. 30 at Create and Escape (71 Main St.).

Higgins Middle School (85 Perkins St.) will be hosting its 16th annual Craft Fair from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 1.

First Book Distribution Day will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 1 at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School (485 Lowell St.).

Healthy Pet (637 Lowell St.) will be hosting Free Photos with Santa from noon-3 p.m. on Dec. 1.

Brooksby Farm (54 Felton St.) will be hosting its Holiday Open House at noon on Dec. 1-2.

Mayor Edward Bettencourt and the Concert Committee will be hosting A White Christmas, featuring the Hillyer Festival Orchestra, on Dec. 1-2 at City Hall (24 Lowell St.). For tickets, call Mary Bellavance in the Mayor’s Office at 978-538-5704.

Bishop Fenwick High School (99 Margin St.) will be hosting its Christmas Craft and Vendor Fair from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 2.

The final curbside leaf collection is scheduled for the week of Dec. 3.

The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its Holiday Member Reception from 5:30-8 p.m. on Dec. 4 at the Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College (295 Hale St. in Beverly).

A Title I Reading Coffee and Chat will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Dec. 6 at Center Elementary School (18 Irving St.).

The Parent Teacher Organization at Center Elementary School (18 Irving St.) will be hosting Photos with Santa, Olaf too! from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Dec. 8. Admission is $8.

St. Ann’s Church (140 Lynn St.) will be hosting a blood drive from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 9 in honor of Thomas Ritchie. Photo identification is required for all donors.

Create and Escape (71 Main St.) will be hosting a Holiday Open House from 5-7 p.m. on Dec. 10.

The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its next Power Up! session from 7:30-9 a.m. on Dec. 11 at the Ferncroft Country Club (10 Village Rd. in Middleton).

The Parent Teacher Organization at Burke Elementary School (127 Birch St.) will be hosting the second annual Great Burke Holiday Light Stroll from 5-8 p.m. on Dec. 15. Admission is $10.

The Peabody Little League will be hosting its Holiday Gathering at 7 p.m. on Dec. 21 at Capone’s Restaurant and Lounge (147 Summit St.). Tickets are $30 and must be reserved by Dec. 10. Checks can be made payable to Kristie DeLoreto and mailed to 12 Esquire Dr. in Peabody. Payments can also be made through Venmo to KD-DeLoreto.

The McVann O’Keefe Memorial Skating Rink (511 Lowell St.) will be hosting Skate With Santa from 2:10-3:40 p.m. on Dec. 23.
