The purple were handling the emerald in the 1st half, which I’m sure had the green caught off guard. As they went up 8 after one and 6 at the half, the Celts finally came alive in the 3rd with a 13-6 edge, going into the final frame & eventually holding onto this 6-point victory. M. Preziosa had a phenomenal shooting day from the line, going 8-8 and leading his…

Malden Neighborhood Basketball League:  RESULTS – WEEK 7   Saturday, Feb. 17 Game 1 – Celtics 57, Sixers 48   We opened the weekend with the Celts jumpin’ out early after one. Led by M. Preziosa with 17 and A. Volmar with 12, the Sixers did come back in the 2nd and kept it close, thanks to a strong game from J. Regis with his game-high 22; but a 10 point lead going into the 4th was a bit too much to come back from for the Crimson. A Celtic win next Saturday locks them in the madness.
