    Mayor DeMaria and Everett Police Host 12th Annual National Night Out

    Mayor Carlo DeMaria and Everett Police Chief Steven Mazzie celebrated the 12th annual National Night Out last Tuesday with hundreds of Everett residents. Before the National Night Out barbecue and party, residents gathered in each ward with their city councilors and members of the police force. Each group then walked together through Everett to the city’s recreational center, where everyone enjoyed listening to music and eating freshly grilled food. Chief Mazzie and local and state government officials gave speeches about the event and the importance of strong relations between the police and community.     Everett takes to the streets for National Night Out

    Everett residents took part in National Night Out with the Everett Police Department on Tuesday evening, walking from their wards and congregating at the Rec Center for summer festivities.  As per tradition, residents enjoyed music, food, slush, and a K9 demonstration, while in the company of the Everett Police.  Kids had the opportunity to win bicycles and other fun prizes.     National Night Out continues to build trust in the community

    By Christopher DeGusto Designed as a country-wide celebration and gathering between communities and city, state, and federal law enforcement officers, National Night Out in Revere boasted a myriad of professionals, citizens, and even animals. Hosted at two locations, Whelan School Park and Curtis Park at the Garfield School, members of the Revere community were able to enjoy a barbeque and refreshments; children played in inflatable bounce houses, and at the adjoining playground and basketball courts.
