    More unreported income cases discovered by Tara Vocino Approximately three cases of unreported income were discussed during Wednesday’s Annual Revere Housing Authority (RHA) Board of Commissioners meeting in the Housing Authority conference room. According to Director of Housing Management Elizabeth Forte, Public Housing Manager Evelyn Rodriguez discovered more cases of unreported income during the rent recertification process. “Next steps depend on how much is owed,” Forte said.     Debunk rumors of new high school construction By Tara Vocino Three tenants within the Revere Housing Authority have been found guilty of fraud; it was announced during Thursday’s Housing Authority meeting. “Since March, three families have failed to report their income when they brought in their yearly documents,” Director of Housing Management Elizabeth Forte said. “Because it’s a lease violation, they could be evicted.     Revere Housing Authority awarded HUD-VASH vouchers

    The Revere Housing Authority (RHA) is pleased to announce that the agency has been awarded five Housing and Urban Development-Veterans Administration Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) vouchers. RHA’s core mission is to provide the highest level of housing and a variety of social service programs that will assist residents in achieving their highest level of self-sufficiency. These vouchers will allow RHA to work in concert with the Bedford Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the City of Revere to advance the progress that has been made in addressing the needs of homeless veterans.
