A Rossetti-Cowan Senior Center Thanksgiving
Seniors celebrated Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 15, with a full-course Roast Turkey dinner and all the trimmings and entertainment by vocalist Joey Canzano, who always brings his stupendous voice to life with his musical selections. Joey was sponsored by the Revere Veterans Committee (Ira Novoselsky and Al Terminiello, Jr.). There were plenty of raffles, and prizes donated by Wheelabrator. The Rossetti-Cowan Senior Center hosted a Halloween Disco Party presented by DJ George Athas on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Seniors dressed in costume as they dined and danced through the afternoon with passion and delight, listening to the tunes of the 70’s. This annual event is embraced by seniors who have no trouble at all in getting into the spirit of Halloween.

Rossetti Cowan Senior Center News Revere Elder Affairs Director Stephen Fielding attended the Massachusetts Council of Aging and Senior Center Directors 2018 Conference (MCOA) that focused on a plethora of senior center issues through plenary sessions, individual classes, and guest speaker subject matter experts. This conference gathers 350 senior center directors throughout the state and provides key insight to senior services.
