An out-of-town company has joined the growing list of sponsors of World Series Park.
“We very much appreciate Gray’s Appliance’s support and encourage people to shop at their Melrose store,” World Series Park Superintendent Bob Davis said.
“We hope that other new and already established businesses will help us by purchasing advertising signs and becoming one of our sponsors. This kind of support is what got us started and has kept us going over the last 14 years … The Saugus businesses that have helped us deserve a lot of credit for making the park what it is today. All signs are made by Sachem Signworks of Saugus,” he said.
World Series Park in Saugus depends on the support of businesses. Each season many businesses purchase advertising signs that are displayed at the park, according to Davis. People who come to the park are encouraged to support these businesses, since without the support of these sponsors the park wouldn’t be possible. World Series Park hosts over 250 games each season.
Gray’s Appliance recently purchased a sign for the 2018 season. Gray’s Appliance is a longtime Melrose family-owned and -operated business. Over the years Gray’s has been a popular appliance store with many Saugus customers. Gray’s sells, services and provides parts for a large variety of name-brand kitchen and laundry appliances. The Gray family believes in serving their customer communities by not only providing high-quality products and service, but also supporting causes that make those communities better places to live, like World Series Park that provides a great facility for the youngsters of Saugus to play baseball in.
