Mayor Christenson Awards Citation to Nobel Peace Prize Laureate

More than 5,000 people attended Sunday’s Third Annual New England Muslim Festival along Pearl Street. Mayor Gary Christenson awarded Tawakkol Karman, a 2011 Nobel Prize laureate from Yemen, and Senator Ed Markey visited tables from different Muslim countries, including Yemen, Egypt and Morocco.
