Honeybee, honeybee, small, black and yellow
As a pollinator, you’re quite a grand fellow
Gardens aplenty, adorned with bright hue
Would vibrant colors survive without you?
Red, orange, yellow, displays of grand scale
Blues, pinks and violets, would destine to fail
A loss so tragic, your demise would be
How can we help you? Look around, and see
Destructive sprays, set aside, let you breathe
Weeds on the hillside, cut down? Nay – do leave
What we may deem ugly, small creatures deem vital
Building beehouses, your numbers shan’t spiral
How can we help you, dear precious little bee?
We’ll show you our love, compassion, then see
When green pastures flourish, so thrives every life
Without honeybees, a world in great strife
For as you buzz from flower to flower
You share with our world unreplaceable power
Without pollination, how can life, thus, survive?
When God made our bees – He kept us alive
How can we help you, oh heavenly bees?
Treasure the land, the clouds, the seas
For God made them all, and for us, they live
In loving appreciation – our care, we ought give
