Malden Public Library showcases the artwork of Gurleen Anand

Gurleen Anand is the featured artist for the month of November, and the library will be hosting an artist reception on Thursday, November 9, from 6-7 p.m., and everyone is welcome to attend. Anand is a certified art therapist from the University of Florida and resides in Malden. Throughout her career, she has worked in the field of creativity and innovation.

Anand works with a variety of mediums, to create art centered around mindfulness and recovery. She uses art therapy to help individuals heal. She hopes to use her art as a way to bring people of various backgrounds and works of life together.
