McGonagle delivers flowers to Everett seniors for Mother’s Day

Last week State Representative Joe McGonagle visited several senior living sites in Everett to deliver flowers in honor of Mother’s Day. McGonagle says he does this not only to celebrate the mothers and mother figures in the community, but especially in remembrance of his late mother.

“My mom was a connected piece of this community and the glue to our family,” said McGonagle. “I want to honor her legacy by celebrating not only those who are mothers and grandmothers but those who have acted as motherly figures and also have mothers who have passed on. I loved getting to visit with these women and remind them that they are appreciated.”
