Building Trade Unions Endorse Wayne Matewsky for Councilman-at-Large

Ward 1 Councilman and Candidate for Councilman-at-Large Wayne Matewsky was honored to receive endorsements and support from many Building Trade Unions over the past few weeks. Matewsky, who attended Boston Trade Schools Bricklayers Apprentice Program, became a journeyman bricklayer in 1981 and knows the importance and value of joining a union, receiving training and becoming a member of the Building Trades!

Charles Raso, President of Bricklayers and Allied Crafts Local #3, where Matewsky has been a dues paying member since 1977, said “Wayne has always been a defender of union values – including a livable wage, retirement plans , health benefits, & representation and we proudly and strongly endorse Wayne for Councilman-at-Large, and pledge our friendship, support and hard work in making the election a success!

Other Unions have endorsed Councilman Matewsky include Roofers & Waterproofers Local #33, Iron Workers Local #7, Heat & Frost Insulators Local #6, North Atlantic States of Carpenters Local #328, Boston Plasters & Cement Masons Local #534, Greater Boston Labor Council, and Wood Framers Union Local #723.
