Promotions and new appointments recognized at the Sept. 8 City Council meeting

The City of Everett is proud to announce the promotions of Officers Tracy Hornsby and James MacGregor to the rank of sergeant. Both officers were officially promoted during the Sept. 8 City Council meeting in recognition of their exceptional dedication, professionalism and leadership throughout their service to the Everett community.
At the same meeting, the City also welcomed four new officers to the Everett Police Department: Dennis Arias, Elliot Bedoya, Christianna Carroll and Tony Eason. Each of these officers brings valuable skills and a strong commitment to public service. They will play an important role in supporting the department’s mission of protecting and serving the Everett community.
“We are fortunate to have such dedicated men and women serving our city,” said Mayor Carlo DeMaria. “I congratulate Sergeants Hornsby and MacGregor on their well-earned promotions, and I am thrilled to welcome Officers Arias, Bedoya, Carroll and Eason to our Everett Police family.”
