Everett community and the Greater Boston Nepali Community gathered to celebrate Nepali culture
EVERETT, MA – On Sunday, Aug. 6, the City of Everett, in partnership with the Greater Boston Nepali Community (GBNC) hosted Nepal Day at Glendale Park.
Community members gathered to celebrate Everett’s Nepali community at this event, which was a fun day filled with plenty of food, dancing and live music representing the Nepali people and culture.
“We are very proud to have such a strong Nepali community in Everett, and I’m glad that we had this opportunity to join together in celebration,” said Mayor Carlo DeMaria. “I’d like to thank the Greater Boston Nepali Community, our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Department and the many team members of my administration who were involved in making this such a successful event here in the City of Everett.”
