Everett voters will head to the polls for the Democratic primary on Sept. 3rd for the 28th Middlesex District state representative race between incumbent State Rep. Joseph McGonagle, Jr. and challenger City Councillor Michael Marchese. Given past races where the ballot has been light with contests, a low voter turnout is expected.

Rep. Judith Garcia of Chelsea and Rep. Dan Ryan of Charlestown who represent their respective wards in Everett are running unopposed.

Early voting will continue until today, Friday, Aug. 30th until 5:00 pm. At City Hall

Early voting for the US Presidential election between former President Donald J. Trump, Republican and Vice-President Kamala Harris, Democrat, will begin in October. The general election will be November 5, 2024.
