Leonard Piazza Memorial Golf Tournament Aug. 19

This year’s Lenny Piazza Tournament will be held on August 19 at Trull Brook Golf in Tewksbury. Lenny grew up in Everett and was an active sportsman at EHS. Following that he enlisted into the Army, then attended Boston University. He then became a teacher and moved on to principal and superintendent. Upon retiring from education, he became the aide to the late Mayor Ed Connolly and followed him to the State House as his aide as State Rep.

Lenny spent his entire life living in Everett, and education was very important to him; therefore, the family has dedicated many years to raising money and awarding scholarships and making some donations to other community activities.
