Malden Gaming District launches program to unlock discounts for gaming and dining in February

Malden residents and visitors can now enjoy discounts on gaming businesses and restaurants throughout the Malden Gaming District thanks to a new “Choose Your Own Adventure” Pass. The Pass, which is designed to boost economic activity in the downtown and make going out more affordable, is the result of a partnership between the City of Malden, the Chamber of Commerce and Malden Gaming District businesses, with funding from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. The Pass unlocks a range of discounts: for rock climbing, questing, food, drinks, comic books and more. “The Choose Your Own Adventure Pass unlocks a more affordable night out for residents and visitors alike and will provide a vital boost to our restaurants, gaming establishments, and business community,” says Mayor Gary Christenson. “We will continue to work with our business community and grant funders to promote this unique attraction.”

The Malden Gaming District is home to over two dozen businesses and communities that cater to the thriving gaming and dining scene in downtown Malden. The Pass establishes a stronger connection between gaming and dining businesses and promotes overall business activity in the area.

Officially available for purchase online now, the Pass will allow patrons to better understand that an affordable day trip or night out in Malden can include both gaming and a gourmet experience.
