McGonagle honors young boy battling cancer

Joined Beachmont VFW to honor Paul Baglio of Revere

Last month State Representative Joe McGonagle took part in a ceremony at Beachmont VFW to honor Paul Baglio of Revere, a young boy battling a rare cancer. The Beachmont VFW decided to make Paul an honorary member for his courage and tenacity. Rep. McGonagle joined the festivities and presented Paul with a citation from the House of Representatives to mark the momentous occasion. At the event Paul was joined by his parents, Rob and Jade, as well as his siblings.

“When I got the call from VFW, I knew how important this event was,” said McGonagle. “Paul is an incredible young man with more courage at 7 years old than some people have in their whole lives. I’m thrilled we could celebrate him and his family and give him the party he deserves.”
