The Joseph L. Mottolo VFW Post 4524, in collaboration with the Marine Corps League, plans to host their First Annual Coat Drive.

“We’re hoping to help out the less fortunate,” Post Commander Matthew Cunningham said. “Coats will be distributed to needy students in Revere, Everett, Saugus and Malden, working alongside school resource officers to determine eligibility.”

Coats or winter clothing must be new. Donors can drop off the coats at 61 Lucia Ave. in Revere. Ring the bell at the lower level for entry between 8 a.m. and 1 a.m.

They are also collecting toys for their annual Toys for Tots Drive. More than 500 toys were sent to their warehouse on Saturday morning for distribution.
