Terrence ” Terry” James Gallagher

Of Everett.  Born in Boston, MA on October 26, 1945, passed away on December 6, 2022 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was the youngest of eight children born to Joseph James Gallagher and Helen Frances (Joyce) and was raised in Boston’s West End. He was retired from the International Laborer’s Union, Local 22 and enjoyed hockey “Go Bruins!” and listening to Doo Wop music, cheating at cards with his grandchildren to see if they would catch him, traveling, summers at Hampton Beach, going to plays and concerts, and spending time with family and “The Gang” a very close-knit group of longtime friends. His warm and generous nature and amazing sense of humor endeared him to everyone who knew him and he will be sorely missed.

   Terry is survived by his devoted wife of over 22 years, Lillian Jean (Rochon-Milligan), sons Christopher Scott Milligan and his wife Janelle of Wakefield, MA, Brian Michael Milligan and his wife Helena of Warren, OH and Ruben Joshua Aragon and his wife Tania of Boynton Beach FL., daughters Tracey Lee Milligan-Brown of Jamaica Plain, MA, and Sheri E. Ellis of Hilo, HI brothers Donald Gallagher and his wife Charlene of Bradenton, Fl and Dennis Gallagher of Georgetown, MA and a sister Carol O’Connell and her husband Michael of Gilmanton, NH. He was predeceased by both of his parents, brothers Joseph Gallagher, Jr., Paul Gallagher and his wife Ruth of Cape Coral, FL and Kevin Gallagher of Chelsea, MA and a sister Gail Cerroni and her husband Richard of Everett, MA.

    He also leaves ten adored grandchildren: Bryanna Lea Bernard, Christopher Alan Milligan, Alexa Marie Milligan, Noelle Cartwright, Spencer Michael Milligan, Robert Abram Stone Jr., Liliana Rose Rochon-Cribb, Leila Thyme Aragon Cecile “CC” Aragon, and Ashley Ellis as well as several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Hospital for Children

   Visiting hours will be held at the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, Everett on Sunday, December 11.  A Funeral Mass was held in St. Anthony Church in Everett, interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
