Celebrate Earth Day with a free planting starter kit

In honor of Earth Day, Creative Malden, The Gallery@57 and the Malden Teen Gardening Club are inviting the community to get involved in a greener future with a free planting starter kit giveaway. Visit The Gallery@57 at 57 Pleasant St. on Saturday, April 19, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. to pick up a kit that includes seeds, soil and instructions to grow your own plants. Supplies are limited, so early arrival is encouraged.

As an added bonus, one can bring their kit to checkout and receive 20% off any one item in the shop – a great opportunity to support local artists while celebrating sustainability. Attendees can also learn more about the City of Malden’s Climate Action Plan and how to take part in local environmental efforts.
