Friends of the Malden Public Library February events

The Friends have a busy February ahead and we are excited to share our events for the month. Reach out if you are interested in helping with an event.

Saturday, February 7, 10 a.m.: book room organizing at the Malden Public Library: Stop by the book room to help organize and clean before our upcoming book sale on Feb. 14.

Saturday, February 7, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Lunar New Year celebration pop-up at Malden High School: We will be at the Chinese Culture Connection’s Lunar New Year celebration with our pop-up book sale table. We hope to see you there!

  Saturday, February 14, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Valentine’s Day book sale at the Malden Public Library: Join us for our one-day Valentine’s Day book sale. All proceeds from the book sale support Malden Public Library’s programming needs. It’s also an opportunity to either join the Friends or renew your membership for 2026.

Saturday, February 21, 2-4 p.m.: Friends’ Gallery Open Hours at the Malden Public Library: Drop in for a tour of the historic Converse Art Gallery followed by refreshments provided by the Friends. This is a great opportunity to learn about the library’s art gallery and meet the Friends!
