Malden Cyclones head to national competition and seek community support

Malden Cyclones

An inspiring community story

The Pop Warner Malden Cyclones Cheerleading Team announced that they have set up a GoFundMe to cover travel costs for a competition starting December 4. The team is headed to the National Cheer and Dance championships in Florida to represent Boston at a national level. The power of community can truly help propel this team to new heights as they look to bring home a title.

Here are three opportunities for the Malden community to support the Cyclones:

  1. Malden Cyclones Going to Nationals – Cheerleading Head Coach Sunita Williams is raising funds and wrote, “I promise you, any amount would be truly appreciated. We have an amazing group of athletes and scholars on our team who would love some love being poured into them!”
  1. Road to Nationals – Noelle Slack has raised nearly half her goal to make it to the competition but could use a bit of extra support.
  1. Malden Takes Florida – Cherise Hope is the Assistant Coach for the team, and she launched a GoFundMe to help get to Florida and coach her team to victory.
