Malden High Robotics Team wins New England Regional Championship

MHS squad and advisor Morrison invited to compete in July Nationals in Oklahoma

They are now the “Best of the Best” in New England and have received an invitation to compete for the title of top High School Robotics Team in the nation. Led by Advisor Brian Morrison, the Malden High School Robotics Team competed in the New England Regionals on Saturday, May 3 at Malden Catholic. Malden placed second in the Seeding round, 1st in Double Elimination and 1st in Documentation and were crowned 1st Place Overall New England winners at the conclusion of the competition.

They have now been invited to compete in the Global Conference on Educational Robotics (GCER) in Norman, Oklahoma, in July.

“They did a tremendous job! Our Malden High School Robotics team and their advisor Mr. Morrison continue to achieve at the highest level and bring honors to our school and community,” said Malden High School Principal Chris Mastrangelo. “We are very of proud of all of them.”
