The Malden Public Library will be displaying photographs by local artist Sandy Felder throughout the month of November. Sandy describes herself as a retired union leader whose passion for fighting for economic and social justice has inspired her art. She believes that art, in its many forms, plays a critical role in our society. Its subtle or not-so-subtle messages can offer an alternative way to see the world – capable of changing hearts and minds through the language of images.
All her pieces are available to purchase. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of her photography will be donated to Creative Malden. Creative Malden is an art and cultural organization that believes our community is strengthened by the arts. Stop by the library during November to see her work.
