Two longtime Malden Girl Scout Leaders retire

Mayor Gary Christenson recently congratulated longtime Malden Girl Scout Leaders Heidi Sutherland and Sharon Fama for more than 20 years of leading Malden’s scouts. Both women have volunteered their time as troop leaders, parade coordinators and service unit members, and they have shaped our future leaders by instilling in them the importance of personal responsibility and service to others. Mayor Christenson presented them citations in honor of the wonderful contributions they’ve made to their community and the lives of the girls they’ve mentored.
