Mac Singleton League kicks off new season

Mayor Gary Christenson along with Ward 2 Councillor Paul Condon took center stage for the opening tip at the much-anticipated Mac Singleton Basketball League Season Opener at Devir Park earlier this week. The event drew lots of spectators as members of the Malden Recreation Department and Malden Police Department helped get the season underway. The 6^th, 7^th and 8^th grade students’ division opened the season for what promises to be a great summer of students displaying their skills, camaraderie and sportsmanship.
