A.C. Whelan third grade families celebrate Valentine’s Day

Third graders at the A.C. Whelan School celebrated the holiday of love with their families at the Annual Valentine’s Day Family Brunch. Parents and teachers donated a variety of brunch items for students and their families to enjoy as they head into February vacation. Parents were guests of their students and were served a wonderful brunch, including bagels, muffins, yogurt, coffee and juices. Students worked on crafts with their family members as they enjoyed the annual event. Seventy-five families were in attendance and smiles and love were in the air. The annual event was hosted by third grade teachers Melissa Randall, Juliana Naso, Catherine Corrado, Lindsey Cullen, Kiera Prendergast and Marianne Knox as part of their Home-School Initiative.
