Point of Pines Beach Assoc. Kicks Off Beach Season with Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Community Celebration

REVERE — The Point of Pines Beach Association (POPBA) welcomed spring — and officially kicked off the beach season — with its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19. Over 75 children and their families gathered at the beach for a fun-filled morning featuring a special visit from the Easter Bunny, laughter, treats, and plenty of colorful eggs.

Ward 5 City Councillor and POPBA President Angela Guarino-Sawaya greeted families and opened the event with a warm welcome. “The Easter Egg Hunt is one of our most cherished traditions in the Point of Pines,” said Councillor Guarino-Sawaya. “It’s a wonderful way to bring neighbors together, celebrate the season, and kick off another great beach season in our community.”

Rockland Trust Savings Bank – Broadway branch generously sponsored part of the event. Vice President/Branch Manager Felicia Napolitano and Teller Daisy Tatum were on hand to raffle off colorful chalk kits and distribute donuts and juice boxes to the children.

“Enjoyed being a part of such a beautiful community event put together for children,” said Felicia Napolitano. “Their smiles and laughter were priceless.”

With several new babies recently welcomed into the neighborhood, the event also served as a celebration of growth, connection, and the strong community spirit that defines the Point of Pines.

The POPBA extends its heartfelt thanks to Rockland Trust and all who helped make the event a success. The association looks forward to a vibrant beach season filled with more family-friendly events and neighborly fun.
