If you’re looking for something spooky to do in Revere this October, the Revere History Museum and the Rumney Marsh Burial Ground have you covered! On October 5, after the Fall Festival has wrapped up, come to the Revere History Museum (108 Beach St.) at 6:30 for “An Evening of Oddities with J.W. Ocker.” J.W. Ocker is an award-winning author who specializes in the strange and unusual, and his presentation will focus on odd sites in New England that will add something unique to your fall road trips.
Then on October 19, join us at 7 p.m. for the first ever “Twilight Tour” of the Rumney Marsh Burial Ground on Butler Street. This is an all-new tour that will focus on the dark side of the burial ground, featuring true tales of ghosts, witches, untimely deaths and more.
Admission for both events is a suggested donation of $10, all of which will go towards preservation efforts at the museum and the burial ground. You can find more info at the Facebook pages for the Revere History Museum and the Rumney Marsh Burial Ground Restoration Committee, or email rschpmuseum@comcast.net.
