Birthdays are special at the Senior Center

The Saugus Senior Center recently hosted our first birthday celebration of 2026, honoring 14 wonderful seniors born in January. It was a fun and joyful afternoon and a great way to start the year.

A special thank you to Kathleen Murphy for her generous sponsorship of our January birthday celebration. Cathy gave this gift in loving memory of her siblings, Teddy and Sheila. Kathy, we are so grateful for your kindness and generosity.

The Senior Center likes to recognize a senior’s birthday on the last Friday of the month with a collective celebration. Each birthday recipient receives a free pizza lunch, cake, ice cream and a souvenir group photo. If anyone would like to sponsor a birthday in honor of someone special, please stop by the office and let us know.
