City Lights Tree at Glendale Towers for Annual Celebration

  Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the City of Everett recently brought holiday greetings and well wishes to the residents of Glendale Towers for the annual tree lighting. The event kicked off with serving all who attended a delicious meal – provided by Mayor DeMaria and the Council on Aging – with choices like pasta, eggplant parmigiana, haddock, salad, desserts and more. Then each resident was given a reusable gift bag containing an assortment of goodies, an ornament and a holiday hat. Throughout the evening, attendees were treated to the wonderful sounds of Ray Cavicchio along with his signature “Cavichord” and the magnificent voice of Therese DiMuzio as they played all the holiday favorites. Both performers encouraged those in attendance to dance and sing along with them.

  Mayor DeMaria thanked all who attended for coming together for this celebration and wished everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays as the tree was lit in celebration of the holiday season.
